For the first time in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, the set up for “functional neuro-vascular coupling” in a laboratory mouse, was inaugurated in the laboratories of the Neuroscience Research Center. This system records the neuro-vascular response of the barrel cortex to various stimuli. The system could be utilized for evaluations of drug effects, somatosensory pathways, and different diseases such as stroke, Alzheimer, Parkinson, etc in animal models.
